marionoioso.com is a personal, non-commercial publication by Mario Noioso, based in Rome, Italy. I am the data controller for the personal data described on this page. For any request about your data, message me on LinkedIn.

If you subscribe, I receive your email address, the lists you choose (field guides only, or everything I publish) and the dates you subscribed and confirmed.

• Purpose and legal basis: to send you the emails you asked for, based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give it by subscribing and confirming the link in the email you receive.
• Service provider: subscriptions and sending are managed by Jetpack, a service of Automattic Inc., which processes the data on my behalf. Automattic may process data in the United States; how it protects these transfers is described in its privacy policy.
• Email statistics: Jetpack records when newsletter emails are opened and which links are clicked, and shows me these statistics.
• Retention: your address is kept until you unsubscribe.
• Your choices: every email has a link to unsubscribe and to choose which lists you receive. Unsubscribing withdraws your consent, at any time.

This site uses Jetpack, by Automattic, for visit statistics and site security, and Google Tag Manager, by Google, to manage measurement tags.

If you leave a comment, the name, email address and website you enter are stored with the comment so it can be displayed and moderated. Your email address is never published.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to restrict or object to its use, and you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting what happened before. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
